A series of favourite Pokémon created in Illustrator. Using the pen tool, shapes, shadows and highlights were replicated from the official artwork. Capturing Absol’s fur proved a particular challenge, but through repeated use, predicting the bezier curves became possible. Using the pattern function, custom backgrounds were created, reflective of the creatures’ type.
