During my time at Cynergy Bank as a contracted Lead/Principle Product Designer I have helped deliver a number of zero-to-one projects for the bank:

Mobile Banking App for personal and business customers
The Online Bank (web) for personal and business customers
The Design System
The first Agentic AI products for the bank
Phase 2 of the App and Online Banking platform (redesign)

The app

Stand out new features include:
• ‘Fast track loan application’ process, where users can apply for an array of different savings products, within minutes in the app, from start to finish.
• A groundbreaking appointment booking system that can be initiated and managed via the app including video call.
• Push and SMS notifications dashboard
• ISO compatible payments systems for domestic (Faster and CHAPS) and international payments (SWIFT/SEPA)
• Bulk Payments flows
• Multi-authorisation flows

Cynergy Bank have built their business on the belief that you have more important things to do than wrestle with complex products or spend valuable time administering your banking arrangements. That is why their Digital Transformation projects have unleashed new banking products into the world that are user-centred and enable frictionless journeys.

At the forefront of AI innovation

Leaning hard into Agentic AI, I have helped Cynergy role out a suite of AI applications that are so advanced and beyond the curve that they have already been nominated for ‘Computing’ Awards 2026. Imagine as a credit lender you wanted to take on a new prospect, you can effectively create a deal and raise a credit memo for that new prospect within minutes (provided you have the right documents to hand). Integrating AI into a brand new credit lending app for the bank will save the bank thousands of man hours.
