Rooted in a warm and intimate aesthetic, this series for Figgi Magazine draws deeply from my Ivorian origins. The setting sun wraps the body in a golden light, echoing the softness of late afternoons in Côte d’Ivoire, where colors become richer and almost unreal.
The model, held in a suspended pose, embodies the idea of living memory, a moment paused between past and present. Warm tones between earth, coral, and amber interact with the skin, creating a visual harmony that evokes warmth, strength, and heritage.
Through Paused Image, I aim to capture more than a silhouette but a feeling. The sensation of sunlight on the skin, time slowing down, and a deep connection to my roots.
