ABOUT
When thinking of the chinese language, all kind of intrincate symbols come to mind.
These symbols, also used in the japanese language are called kanji, a vast collection of characters that express concepts or ideas.
Although this furniture piece, here presented, started as a simpler shelf, not-to-be- populated with many decoration objects or books, then evolved into an asiatic-flavored one, when the bigger parts were carved.
The red color used is very significant, as in the chinese culture, it is the symbol of joy, celebration, vitality and good fortune.
