Bomper were commissioned by Stack to create the key background visual for their Peugeot iOn print ad. Working from their notes and rough sketches, our 2D artists painstakingly designed a fully fledged circuit-board cityscape before stamping it onto a 3D surface in Cinema 4D in order to replicate the effect of real circuit board printing. A placeholder car was positioned into the scene in order to generate the correct lighting and reflections.

The final visual was rendered out using V-Ray as a multipass, and then composited and retouched using Adobe Photoshop before being handed back to Stack for implementation into the finished print ad.
