From the mid-20th century when they first began to work on Wall Street, to their present day impact across business, politics and technology, Black professionals have made significant contributions to American life and culture.

This year's Black History Month celebration was all about connecting the past, present, and future. We chose to juxtapose accomplished Black individuals from an earlier generation with current Bloomberg employees to illustrate the positive and ongoing upward trajectory of the Black community, to show how one generation has paved the way for the next to continue Rising.

We encouraged employees to sign up for our Black Professional Community and in return, we gave away custom t-shirts to those new members.

Our sponsored Instagram Story delivered more than 3 million impressions, reaching more than 1.7 million people and drove 4,500 clicks to our Diversity & Inclusion blog.
