ABOUT

In partnership with Ancestry and creative agency Anomaly, we were given the opportunity to forage through archival imagery, with a view to tell various stories through a selection of old photography.

Our team met their challenge when we were tasked to bring these still images to life via animation, meticulously cutting out elements and creating new layers to achieve additional dimensions in the photographs. The animation was then created by adding camera moves, achieving an almost 3-dimensional parallax movement across all the layers.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Anomaly and Ancestry on these films and look forward to the next iterations in the near future.
