ABOUT

With "identity" the starting point, this campaign raises autism awareness to encourage more interaction within society and break down stereotypes. The theme I AM is the focus of the campaign, built on the first and last letter of the word AutisM and promoting friendship and unity despite the many questions surrounding the topic.
The posters convey how autism is a facet that makes up ones identity and uses illustrations to address the fact that autism is not a label and each person is an individual with strengths and hobbies despite their diagnosis of autism. The original brochure visually represents autism in the way many elements fit together like a puzzle. The additional promotional elements all work towards creating this awareness through a soft colour, typography and composition. The campaign has a personal and approachable feel, using factual information and personal illustrations to convey its message.
