Concept
Mapping The Unseen - I engage with natural elements including the sea and the wind to map out spaces and environments, tapping into the natural energies to trace and draw, and document unique, live, site specific performances. The reality of the captured image is fundamental to all my work, particularly with long exposure photography, or space-time.

Execution
Working with specially constructed drawing tools in the dark of night, I set the parameters within my frame to map out a series of "light drawings" that I interact with as both photographer/filmmaker and performer. Each frame is several minutes long and brought together in the final outcome. Ambient sound samples are captured during and after this live event

Results
The final frames are compiled into a FotoFilm with an added soundscape created from my sampled sounds on site and in the studio. I sometimes work with writers/poets reading out their response to the work.
