ABOUT
Project Maji is an amazing non-profit social enterprise that completely transforms life in rural Africa by installing solar-powered water pumps. But they need sponsors to do that. That's where we came into play. Virtual Reality is a great medium for potential sponsors to not only witness the situation in an immersive way but also to take part and feel how they can make a difference before they donate.
With this approach in mind, we created an immersive story about a thirteen-year-old girl, Dagbe, and let potential sponsors take part in improving her village, from healthcare to education, economy, and agriculture. "Waters of Change" premiered at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 28) and won the Environmental Impact Award at the Tribeca Film Festival. More importantly, it continues to help Project Maji gain more support for their invaluable mission.
