About me

'Bettina Nem is a visual artist, based in the UK. She had developed an interest in art and design at a very early age and since then she's been working in all visual fields without limits. Her art is curious, colourful and conceptual. Her works are a mixture of her interests in Psychology, Sociology and Art. Her pieces are leaving us with questions, but no answers in the hope that we'll find our own answers while wandering at them.' 'Having studied psychology as well as visual art and photography, she interprets her knowledge into her work and questions the possibilities of our minds, our capability of positive communication and behavioural patterns through interpersonal relationships. She's had several group exhibitions in well established galleries and she has a deep understanding of today's media. Bettina owns her own fashion line, called NEM! Clothing, where she also takes on upcycling projects for bands, recouping dead merchandise.'
