ABOUT
Neugotik was born as a typeface that embodied the typography scattered throughout the country of Germany, often seen spread across Apotheke storefronts, pubs, and other various forms of adverts. Having previously represented a grim part of German history, a revival of Blackletter, with its modern approach to a traditional form, was developed. Further finding beauty in the overall shape and ornamentation, Neugotik becomes a typeface that could be used in a modern setting, as well as the Apotheke storefronts, pubs, and other various forms of adverts across Germany and even expanded throughout the world.
