Drawing inspiration from industrial lighting, this modular lighting system explores the relationship between ceramic and textile and their qualities when combined. Using techniques such as slip casting and felt forming, I have created a ceramic component that holds interchangeable felt shades. These shades allow adaptation to different settings through variations in thickness and colour, as the light is diffused with varying intensity. This creates a different ambiance to suit various environments.
