I am, above all, a creative and driven person who is determined to succeed and incredibly set to whatever task I undertake. I have a First-class degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from The University of Warwick as well as a strong background in administration and copywriting (including digital copywriting), B2B and B2C marketing. This is largely as a result of spending 18 months in a role at Holmes Chapel Hearing Centre where I worked only alongside the audiologist who was often absent. I was given little instruction on these marketing initiatives and managed to learn quickly and to much success. This job required a high level of self-motivation as well as of problem-solving. I worked to research competition and to organise events and promotions.
In the last year, I have furthered my experience in marketing, in particular on social media, handling the online presence of two businesses and, in both cases, drastically increasing their engagement. In this year, I have also worked as a freelance writer and editor (as well as travelling) which has honed my skills of proofreading, editing and managing creative projects. I am founder of a magazine "Re-Side," have a very active blog as well as writing for many other magazines and having been editor of my University arts magazine. Through such experiences, I have an intensely developed IT skillset including aspects of web design and SEO.
I enjoy working as part of a team especially towards a goal that I am passionate about. I am keen to land a job where I can express both my creative potential and business sense and I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this.
