In the second survey of its kind, Bespoke Careers has conducted their 2021 Global Job Satisfaction Survey, looking into how A&D professionals are really feeling about the industry and what matters most to them across four key areas: job satisfaction, work/life balance, pay & Benefits and moving jobs. This latest survey not only allows up to compare results from the 2017 edition, but also includes a new ‘key findings and guidance’ section which offers an overview of the key pointers highlighted within the guide and advice for employers from our CEO, Lindsay Urquhart on how to retain their key staff and attract the best talent on the market.

The 2021 survey is based on the responses of over 800 professionals (up from 564 in 2017) working across architecture (including BIM, landscape & urban design), interior design, architectural & interior projects, business support and graphics. It also includes regional breakdowns for the UK, US and Australia in particular as these reflect the locations where Bespoke Careers itself based. Global information was sought to understand the variation in responses across countries.
