This is an interactive installation using capacitive touch sensors and an on-board computer to generate sound. It essentially is a keyboard and can be programmed to control light and image as well as sound.
The installation comes with two default soundscapes optimized for crowds, however a few musicians have chosen to design their own sound fonts for individual performances:

Since the initial prototype (pictured right), the installation was redesigned in 2018 with refined electronics and a robust modular construction that can vary in size and shape with minimal effort
