Worldwide, three out of four children experience physical or psychological violence. This UNICEF campaign tells the stories of three children who experience different forms of violence. It makes visible what is mostly invisible: the effect violence has on the children’s inner soul and the aftermath. Words such as failure, good-for-nothing or whipping boy literally get under the children’s skin and symbolically illustrate how long-lasting these experiences can be.
