ABOUT

When Martin Coul from OTII got in touch about creating the artwork for his new podcast The Hushed, I was instantly drawn to the idea. The podcast explores modern masculinity — the stories, emotions, and unspoken truths that often stay hidden behind the surface.

The brief was to capture a quiet, reflective moment — something that felt both grounded and human. The final artwork shows two men leaning on a gate, mid-conversation on an autumn walk, joined by Martin’s dog, Louie.

The podcast launched this autumn, so the illustration carries that warm, seasonal feel. I’ve also created three more companion pieces for winter, spring and summer — but those are staying under wraps for now.
