Now this was a really enjoyable project. One of our clients approached us and asked if we could grunge up some American icons. By grunge, they meant adding tattoos & piercings. I was more than happy to sink my teeth into this. First was Marilyn Monroe, then Marlon Brando, Mohammed Ali & Audrey Hepburn. They were that enthralled by the finished articles that they mass produced and sold them by the 100's. It is one of my most favourite projects.

Each piece was fully restored and touched up before being manipulated. displacements maps were used for the tattoo placement as well as layer masks etc... for the piercings.
