Covering Letter

I have just completed an Honours Degree in Graphic Communications at Northampton University and achieved a 2:1 pass level. I took a bit of a risk with my final project and chose to communicate the effects of eye diseases through the graphics media. This was by no means an easy subject to tackle and could have gone badly wrong. There was a lot of interest at my final exhibition as I made the presentation interactive and had glasses that people could wear simulating four of the eye conditions. I was awarded one of three awards by the University for my effort.

The final exhibition, called New Blood, was taken to London. Luckily I had volunteered to be on the team to help organise this and it was really enjoyable. I met lots of interesting people and really enjoyed being a member of the team. But boy was is hard work

I am really proud of the portfolio I have compiled during my time at uni and my final piece called 'In Sight' and I would like to be given the opportunity to present it to you if at all possible.

I have used the following programs extensively over the last three years. Illustrator, Indesign, Quark, Flash, dreamweaver and Final Cut Pro5.
