Coppicing is an ancient form of woodland management that all but vanished in the 20th Century. In early 2019 I was lucky to work with Leeds Coppice Workers to document their activities which have reinvigorated old, overgrown coppice woodland, and sought to create local produce that not only minimises impact on the environment, but benefits the ecosystems they worked within.
