ABOUT

St George is a typographic response to the identity crisis of England as a country.

England, Great Britain and the U.K. are often mistaken as the same thing yet Wales, Ireland and Scotland have managed to very much keep their identity.

English 'branding' such as the George's cross has been cheapened and radicalised through groups such as the English Defence League as well as by football fans.

St George is a puzzle made up of letterforms that on there own are unidentifiable, but when put together they create something powerful and identifiable; England.
