Dear Sir/Madam,

Please find my attached CV for the position of Copywriter as advertised on Creative Pool.

I'm particularly interested in this position because it relates strongly to the experience I have gained so far in my writing career. Over a period of three years, I have developed:

- Outstanding editing skills and an excellent eye for typographical and grammatical errors.

- The ability to produce long and short copy across multiple channels, both on and offline, including brand guidelines and tone of voice documents.

- Knowledge of direct and digital marketing practices.

- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering to strict briefs and tight deadlines to a variety of clients and businesses.

- A solid Content Management System knowledge, working online to establish and maintain fresh, compelling and persuasive copy whilst upholding brand values.

I would draw your attention to my CV, which demonstrates that I am a talented and professional copywriter. This is demonstrated throughout my career, where I have been promoted in my first six months and have also been part of a team to win a Barclays competition and being awarded £50,000. I have the ability to manage a large and varied workload; and am capable of learning new systems and information very quickly, willingly and efficiently.

On a personal level, I am a creative, highly ambitious individual with the drive and enthusiasm to succeed in the most demanding of work environments. I am confident in performing under pressure and would not struggle when required to multi-task. I'm confident in my own ability and you will find that I would be an extremely valuable asset to an existing team.

I have completed a Diploma in Creative Writing at UEA in which I was awarded a first- class mark. I feel this is a perfect demonstration of my passion for writing - I am constantly developing a more controlled, disciplined voice in my writing, and am certain I can utilise this to channel into levels of creativity and variety that are essential for this position.
