ABOUT

Created by a group of well-established costume artists, Costume East is a costume library servicing the T.V and Film industry. The collection spans the 60s up until today. The brief was pretty simple — create a black and white logo that would sit happily in the fashion world.

Thinking about the industries they serve and the transformative nature of costume, I wanted to create something that could move, animate, and transform, both in and of itself and underlying imagery.
​
The unique font of the logotype is drawn specifically to allow for a myriad of transformations and transitions. In static form, it has a unique and refined character befitting of the fashion industry.





Responsible for:

Concept, design, font design, art direction, editing and animation.
