Venn Studios was commissioned by emerging artist Claudillea to produce and direct a music video for the second single off her upcoming EP. The song is about mental health and she wanted to shoot underwater.
I worked closely with the director to come up with the narrative and look of the video and develop a treatment and pitch deck for the artist and her team making sure we were in line with her branding. Once that was signed off, I researched and contracted our water tank, sourced our crew and post-production team, helped to apply for further funding, managed the budget, organised recces and risk assessments and coordinated kit rental and pick up. I was on set to make sure the shoot ran smoothly, assisting the director and keeping the client happy I also oversaw the editing and colour grading processes.
The video has recently released to very positive feedback and I am excited to see where it goes.
