The idea: 100% mine. Client gave me lot's of creative freedom.
The general idea of the pattern: was supposed to be tropical, exotic, colourful and funny.
Client requested certain colours (mood board) of the main character and the background colour (wanted bold, vibrant contrastive colours).
The Customer was very pleased with the result
