Unite Students are the biggest provider of purpose-built student accommodation in the UK, with buildings in 25 cities. They pride themselves on giving students the greatest student experience during their years at Uni.

These buildings are not just living spaces, they’re equipped with games rooms, common spaces, cinema rooms, basketball courts, barbecue areas, as well as the study spaces and meeting rooms you might expect.

Really, the only major challenge faced by Unite Students is awareness among an audience that haven’t started their university lives yet. We’re talking to 16 – 18-year-old A-level/college students and their parents, and we’re selling them the university dream.

To show student life at its best, we enlisted the help of students already living in Unite Students accommodations, asking them to film their everyday experiences, from the exciting to the mundane, and share their snippets with us.

Their stories informed our film, and with the skeleton structure in place we could shoot, animate, and compose until we felt that the essence of Unite Students shone through in a youthful, fun, energetic sequence that makes us all want to do our time at university all over again.
