This project began with a cold day's shoot on a nature reserve. After choosing the right shots work started on treating the elements. Some of these were combined to create the foreground and sky. Individual brush strokes were later painted in to form the waves of grass.

As the boat referenced was virtually new the ageing process required a lot of post production. Textures like rust, peeling paint and pitted metal were then painted in and applied to the hull to degrade it. Finally various gulls are depicted orbiting the stern of the boat.
