Un-earthing its literary origins, writer, and historian Matthew Sweet uncovers the history of Dracula in this animated short for Penny Dreadful.

Commissioned by Sky, this is the last of three films to look for the inspirations behind Penny Dreadful, a major drama series created by John Logan starring Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Eva Green and Billie Piper.
