Dynasty will air on the BBC later this year and will be presented by Sir David Attenborough. The five-part series will follow each individual animal and explore how the leader fights to hold power, protect their family and above all, their dynasty.

The Bunker teamed up with BBC Worldwide to produce this impressive display to promote the programme at Mipcom, a media event in Cannes. The main focus of the brief was to characterise each animal as though they were part of a lead drama, because the stories of these animals will undoubtedly unfold in a spectacular fashion.

The colour work and texture given to the overall image was a homage to portraiture of past rulers and holders of great power. This was a great project to work on, because taking cues from such familiar sources as historical portraits and applying them to wild animals was a real challenge. It turned out great and we can’t wait for the show to
hit the screen!
