A Children's TV drama, set during the First World War. As Production Designer I was responsible for the creative direction of the film. As HOD I headed up a team of Construction and Props. working across several locations in the North East.
Together with my Art Director we produce concept sketches and mood boards for discussion, then generate construction drawings, gather a samples library. Employ a construction team comprising of a core 4 man crew supplemented with dailies as needed. Setting and striking locations throughout a 12 week shooting period.
Together with my Props Buyer, we generate specifications for the dressing and action props for the sets and locations. I am also responsible for sourcing the period specific vehicles and animals as necessary. Employ a team of Set Dressers for the continuous setting and striking of sets and locations across various locations. See Showreel page on my website. See website for other examples of work
