The month had barely finished drinking Ronaldo's tears at last night's Euro 2016 football final before the BBC unveiled the trail for their coverage of this summer's other big sporting event... the Olympics.
There was a time when this event overshadowed all others but football's star has now risen so high in the sky that it cannot be eclipsed by anything.
Nonetheless, the Olympics has a grandeur all of its own and its dominance of the TV schedules has a habit of luring viewers to the events even if they don't imagine they'll be that interested.
To that end, this 90s film drawing attention to the BBC's coverage is near enough perfect. RKCR/Y&R and Passion Pictures have worked together beautifully to depict a variety of Amazonian animals limbering up for the various events that make up the games.
As captivating as the visual imagery is, special attention ought to be paid to the sound design on this film... provided - appropriately enough - by Jungle. It gives real heft to this film and ensures we don't mistake what we're seeing for some kind lightweight Disney confection. The music plays its part too in this gloriously foreboding soundscape and already we can feel the first tremors of excitement at the prospect of rising in the middle of the night to watch a balding man from Northamptonshire going for gold in the Small Bore shooting competition.
