Howden's research team worked with YouGov to survey 900 senior IT decision makers from across a representative sample of UK private sector businesses.experts in IT across a variety of types of business. The findings shine a light on the state of UK cyber security
and how to improve it.

The design challenges included first and foremost data - and how to highlight in an interesting, engaging and memorable way to get people’s attention. If the attention was gained, businesses could make a real impact to their safety.
The choice for imagery and colour was intentionally not typical of cyber-related materials, which makes this a memorable, more impactful piece of literature that makes Howden stand out - an example of going against 'what is appropriate' or at least perceived to be, in terms of colour and imagery. 'Bokeh' was a real world metaphorical comparison of something that has a completely different reaction when viewed through a different 'lens' .... reflecting the content-theme of the report.
