Dear Sirs,

Please accept my application for the position of Web Designer advertised on the CreativePool website.

I am particularly interested in this position as it has a definite correlation with my knowledge and practical experience and I feel that I would make an effective and useful contribution to your company.

I have always had an interest in web design however attending the Computer Graphics and Web Design course in 2007 was a turning point in my professional life and influenced my decisions as for my professional development and further career path. I have been deepening my knowledge and improving my skills in the field since then. I`ve also completed Networking and Communication course at Open University in 2009.

It was the educational background that has given me the basics of web design and thorough understanding of the profession yet it was hours of self-study and practical work that helped me to master my practical skills and explore this subject in depth. Three years experience as a freelance web designer provided me with great opportunity to work on many projects from the graphic and layout design through coding and development until search engine optimisation. Being responsible for my own business has given me a confidence in my skills and helped me to improve my organizational and time management skills.

At this stage I am looking forward gaining some practical experience in working within the team of professionals. I strongly believe that learning from other's people experience can be more beneficial then learning on my own. Although I have never worked as a part of the team within the industry, all of my previous employments involved cooperating with others on regular basis. I am convinced that I would be able to adopt the skills acquired during my freelance career in a new environment.

I bring with me my experience and knowledge of most commonly used Adobe products as well as an enthusiasm and determination which I am keen to apply in practise within your organization.
