ABOUT
For its Into the Unknown: A Journey through Science Fiction the Barbican teamed up with contemporary illustration magazine Wrap to run a new print competition around original interpretations of Science Fiction. The five winning entries will be printed and sold as art prints in the Barbican Shop.
My entry didn't make the final cut but I still loved it. Called Barbican.2, the concept was that a new settlement on a distant planet had used the Barbican as a perfect model of Living/working/socialising. And so Barbican.2 was built with my image showing the view from inside one of the flats, looking through one of its iconic windows onto the planet and space beyond. The cat is called Robbie by the way.
