About me
Initially a graphic desidner, I am, at present, a
freelance video editor, working on the OS X platform,
based in south-east London, with 5 years Final Cut Pro
and Photoshop experience.
I have worked for many clients, from production
companies to individuals, editing across various
styles and genres, and often working to very tight
deadlines.
I usually work alongside Directors, to exacting
briefs, but I also have extensive experience of
working alone (sometimes to my own briefs), in my own
fully-equipped home office.
I have edited several shorts and documentaries that
have gone on to air at film festivals, including
'Deptford, I Think', 'Passport To Justice', and 'silk
road'. I have also edited three music videos that have
been aired on cable music channels and the web.
Most of my jobs have been finished to DVD, using
either iDVD or DVD Studio Pro, and I also have
experience of compressing quicktimes for web content;
currently, I find the Sorensen 3 codec a good balance
of space versus resolution.
I'm self-motivated and a conscientious and fast
worker, possessing a strict attention to detail and
the ability to multi-task.
I have been specifically looking for a more permenant
position within the post production industry.
