ABOUT

Behind the book, lies a story of a family of three Slovenian teenage kids and their mother Simona whose life fell apart after an act of violence against her son Dan (Dan means the Day in Slovenian language) and how they all restored their faith in humanity and life itself.
Each poem is an anthem to life and light and has mostly key words honouring the human values. The philosophy of the book is based on eight pillars of Greek wisdom: Humanism, Pursuit of Excellence, Practice of Moderation, Self-Knowledge, Rationalism, Unceasing Curiosity, Love of Freedom and Individualism. The poems were visually translated by a talented Tunisian artist, with all sincerity he transcribed perfectly the emotions encoded in the poems.
The book was born when Simona was walking by herself on the historical sites, mountains and forests of the beautiful Greece. It is on the ancient sacred ways of Delphi with its famous "γνῶθι σεαυτόν, gnōthi seautón" ("Know thyself") that the rhymes for the French and English versions came to her heart.
The visual presentation will guide and invite you to express your emotions and bring harmony inside and outside of you. The colors, key words in different languages and the spirit of the event will surely bring you inner peace.
