This is a motion design project created for La Velvetta, a fine-dining restaurant known for its theatrical, immersive dining experience.

I designed and animated a digital invite that brought the restaurant’s signature “food” to life — dishes floating, spinning, and deconstructing mid-air to reveal each ingredient and layer before reassembling on the plate.

The concept: Why make the food fly? So people see EVERY component. Nothing stacked, nothing hidden — each element gets its own spotlight in mid-air before it all comes together. It’s not just visual flair, it’s the real tasting experience translated to screen: layers revealing themselves one by one, just like they would bite by bite.

The animation was designed to build anticipation and set the tone for La Velvetta’s brand: playful, elevated, and unexpected — turning a simple invite into a mini dining experience of its own.
