I’ve started my initial design work for Save the Children, focusing on how visual identity and animation can respectfully represent children’s dreams, hopes, and voices rather than speaking over them.

This early stage has been about listening, observing, and learning — especially from lived experiences shared by families and children supported by Save the Children. Instead of polished outcomes, my focus has been on process-led experimentation:
• translating children’s drawings into expressive animations
• using simple forms, movement, and colour to communicate hope
• exploring how play, imagination, and care can sit alongside serious subject matter

I’m particularly interested in how design can feel supportive, dignified, and human, avoiding pity-based narratives while still acknowledging real challenges. These early visuals are not final solutions, but a foundation for deeper co-design, research, and collaboration.

Looking forward to developing this further through workshops, feedback, and continued learning — and to understanding how visual language can genuinely support long-term impact in social change work.
