About me

I have been writing for as long as I can remember, and held my first editorial assistant position as a newly graduated English student. Since then I haven't stopped writing, even when studiously typing away at my laptop hasn't been my primary source of income.

It's now time for me to focus my attentions on writing; to turn a hobby into a dream realised. I registered myself as self-employed a little over a year ago now, and can't wait to get stuck into some really great writing projects. I am particularly passionate about nature writing and wildlife blogging, documenting the adventures of my children on their own blog, and volunteering my writing services to The Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, and The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation. I was recently accepted as a columnist for Every Avenue Wedding Magazine, and have contributed a chapter for their new 'Ultimate Bridal Guide' ebook.
