We were approached by Aldgate Solar Power to create them a logo as part of our Design Donation initiative. Aldgate Solar Power are the first community-owned solar project in the City of London. They will be installing solar panels on the Middlesex Street Estate in Aldgate to reduce the building’s carbon footprint. The solar panels will be community owned and will be on the roof for 20 years. They hope this is the first project of many and we are really proud to be helping the community out and wanted a brand identity that enabled them to look professional but that also spoke of the area and the community involvement.

We collaborated with the team to produce a brand that will be recognisable to the community taking part but also will be distinctive for when the project expands into new areas of London.
