People, culture and personal growth are my passion. I've been working as an L&D Director in the Creative Industries and feel that there is still so much to be done to support our people in their personal goals and to attract people to the industry when we're haemorrhaging talent.

It's sad to see as budgets get squished and clients become more savvy and bring skills in house, the first thing to suffer is the creative employee's experience. It's all very well having drinks on a Friday, a bright and engaging environment and an office job, but if your people are uninspired by their work, have no work/life balance and feel their personal growth is disregarded, then it's just fluff.

We need to put our people first. We need to diversify. It's the only way for us to survive.
