Dear Sir/ Madam,
As you can see from my CV, I recently graduated from the University of Bath in July 2015 with a Bsc (Hons) In International Management with Modern Language Spanish. I am writing to express my interest in pursuing a career in the Marketing field. I understand that it is an important task for the Marketing department to promote the brand and attract new customers as well as retaining current and new customers. That is why I think that strong theoretical and academic understanding of Marketing as well as prior experience in this function is necessary to perform well in this field.
I believe that having studied Marketing management modules in my second and fourth year of University illustrate my prior theoretical and academic knowledge of Marketing. Moreover through my summer job in the Marketing department at Robert Bosch GmbH the Multinational engineering and Electronics Company and working 12 months as a Marketing Assistant during my placement year at Savencia ex Bongrain SA a leading multinational Food company, I have acquired good practical experiences in the Marketing field. Having worked in different branches in each of my work experiences, I was able to enrich my skills and knowledge in brand management, product management as well as event management. As a Concept Marketing Assistant at Robert Bosch GmbH I showed good communication and organisational skills through daily keeping in contact with the AutoCrew garages and suppliers as well through organising conferences and events. During my placement at Savencia ex Bongrain SA I was able to show good autonomy and responsibility through entirely managing the creation and production of several product promotions early after the start of my internship. I also gradually became involved in various team projects, such as the restructuring of a company's website and the organization of two major events, in which I showed good reliability, teamwork skills and delivered successful outcomes.
Furthermore, I consider myself as a hardworking and flexible person, able to adapt quickly to new environments. I believe that being half French, half German; having lived in five different countries and achieved a 2:1 in an English and Spanish degree shows it. During my academic career I have successfully combined my studies with multiple other commitments such as being part of the Basketball Women´s 1st team or having part-time jobs, showing myself to be self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure.
