The dark side of fairy tales

The graduate collection is inspired by fairy tales and the innocence of children, mixing that purity with the darkness within and the complexity of both the tales and the child. It is a journey into a fantasy world as well as the exploration of maturing. The obvious, innocent and feminine notions that initially come with the phrase fairy tale, are in contrast with the dark, monstrous reality depicted deeper within the tales; chiffon and jersey in asymmetrical drapes and layers, with fitted sections or garments underneath, creating a balance of delicate and wild, superficially pure, and severely rough.
