Accessibility is often treated as secondary, yet it should be a cornerstone in website development.
The ChallengeUsablenet approached me with a request to redesign their marketing materials, starting with an eBook showcasing their comprehensive roadmap to inclusive design.Following a productive kick-off call, I quickly developed multiple mockup options. Each explored distinct color palettes, layouts, and iconography while staying true to their established branding. I began with a few initial pages, allowing Usablenet the flexibility to refine and align with their vision before proceeding further.
The ResultBeyond crafting the layout, I curated all photography, designed custom iconography, and illustrated the eBook cover.To modernize their visual identity, we retained their signature blue—a hallmark of their services—while introducing vibrant orange accents. This combination added a fresh, dynamic touch, further enhanced by the use of bold backgrounds and contemporary illustrations.
The success of this project fostered an ongoing partnership. Since 2017, I have collaborated with Usablenet on over a dozen projects, including presentations, eBooks, brochures, social media assets, 3D mockups, and even T-shirt and mug designs.
