This was my favourite project at Alamy. My role was instrumental in producing the new Alamy Image Manager (AIM) tool. This is a large scale tool, with many complexities that are now presented in a clear interface, with an intuitive flow. The contributor (user) can manage image-upload, submission-tracking, and metadata-management, ultimately facilitating the sales of their images/videos through the Alamy website. I also produced an instruction manual. The resulting tool combines rich functionality with clarity and simplicity, enabling migrated contributors to manage their images more efficiently than ever. Alamy now see far less 'drop off' - I.e. more people proceed to upload after signing up.
