ABOUT
I developed a design that celebrated Huguenot heritage, I delved into 17th–18th century Huguenot textile designs, architecture, and silversmithing. I explored the intricate patterns found in their fabrics, as well as the geometric and floral motifs often seen in their metalwork and architecture.
This research was instrumental in shaping the contemporary print design, ensuring it reflected the cultural richness of the Huguenot legacy while aligning with modern museum aesthetics.
As part of my internship at Hotrod Creations, I was tasked with developing a bespoke print inspired by traditional Huguenot patterns. The goal was to create a cohesive and culturally resonant design that could be applied across various mediums. This included stationery (letterhead and business card), as well as interior and exterior building elements. I conducted visual research into Huguenot textiles and motifs, then translated these into a contemporary print that honoured their craftsmanship while aligning with the museum’s brand identity.
