The temporary boardwalks installed for the Venice marathon actually useful for everybody but generating a heavy visual impact on the landscape. They are pure functional structure. “No meaning, no emotion”.
The ALTROPONTE concept push people to reflection, ten boardwalks representing ten conquests for the Humanity.
As was said, the general idea is to sensibilize the visitors on ten conquest of the Humanity; to achieve this, the parth of the boardwalks has been divided in two parts:
a. the first from San Basilio to Punta della Dogana;
b. the second from riva degli Schiavoni up to the Garden.
In this way there are four starting/arriving point, according to the direction of travel -see the map- in wich you can find informations about the whole project.

The journey begins with a long enigmatic white tube. The less design as possible.
