Inspiration came from Flamenco, Corridas, Latin environment and the Perrault’ Sleeping Beauty. I started to study the traditional flamenco moves, the most iconic mimes and I directed my attention at a typical female-finger-gesture who remind me at a Matadoresque iconography (see photos). I won’t a classical Christmas theme made of sparkle, stars and snow because all the competitors of course would have done the same. I’ve never loved the standard marketing laws: I focused my ideas on the flamenco’s styling, la “trade de luces”, the “Zapeado” Dance, the Spanish handwriting typography and in one week I wrote the concept book in order to shoot the video and photos.
