About me
Dear sir/madam, I have studied for the last three years Ba(hons) Architecture in London Metropolitan University and successfully passed all the modules. At the moment I am looking for an architect assistant job or a placement opportunity suitable for my profile. During the studies I have gained lots of experience in architecture profession, both the art of design and realisation of these designs in the real world. I have already worked in an architecture studio (“HAStudio” Clerkenwell road London) doing a competition entry for “Bord Gais National Distribution Control Building” (Finglas, Dublin). I really enjoyed that experience and at once realised that I am going the right way. After that my interest has stopped on big structures and subterranean architecture. Both of these are reflected in my third year work with studio 2 (tutors Geoff Shearcroft and Vincent Lacovara from AOC). The name of the project is “Learning from Milton Keynes” and its research was based on techniques used by R. Venturi and his studio in his famous book “Learning from Las Vegas”. The images from this project you will find in my CV; these are made using Rhinoceros program and Vray plug-in, which I practiced for two years in university and got really used to. Along with Rhino I have learned most important Adobe programs, AutoCAD and 3d Max.It would be an honour to join your team and enrich its success with my talent and skills. I have always believed I would become a helpful assistant during my first placement if the body of work that the studio does suites my needs and aspirations.I am looking forward to hearing from you,Sincerely yours,Anton BurdienyjBa(hons) Architecture GraduateLondon Metropolitan University
